A Rebrand That Made a Local Gym Merch-Ready, Market-Ready, and Membership-Ready
The Challenge
Elite Fitness had a brand problem hiding in plain sight. Their existing logo leaned so heavily into boxing that it was turning away potential fitness clients who didn't think the gym was for them. Beyond the positioning issue, the logo itself was too complex to work on merchandise — one of the gym's core revenue and awareness channels. The colours and style were inconsistent across materials. It was time for a full reset.

Our Approach
Armoury led Elite through a focused rebrand built around one brief from founder Ward: keep it simple, make it powerful, and make it merch-ready. The result was a lion — a deliberate choice. Lions carry elite status as the king of beasts, and they embody the values Elite wanted to own: courage, power, and strength. The colour scheme was drawn from military palettes, reinforcing themes of loyalty, discipline, and achievement. The final logo design features a bold, dominant lion's face with hidden symbolism woven into the crown and whiskers — making it unmistakably Elite, and genuinely memorable. The design works at any size, on any surface.
